I believe that only version 7 was designed to work in a 64 bit environment. Version 6 will probably not work unless it's in a 32 bit system.

Some further research has shown that my first answer may not have been correct.

Although I've never used it, there is a 32 bit emulator for 64 bit Windows - WOW64 - which may allow you to run Pyramix 6. However, I would precede with caution, making a full back up, etc., before going forward.

A web search on "run 32 bit under 64 bit Windows" yielded the following results, among others:

http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library ... 85%29.aspx
http://www.techsupportalert.com/content ... ations.htm

Whether or not this will affect the realtime operations of a DAW like Pyramix is unknown to me. It's possible that you may have issues with the ASIO driver for your interface, or with the whole program if your system has more than 2 GB of RAM. I suspect that you won't be able to get this to run under 64 bit XP, but will require Windows 7 or 8, at least - but like I said, I've never tried it as I'm quite happy with a 32 bit environment.

Have you tried it?
