I updated my Anubis firmware for one of my systems that is a direct connection to the DAW (Windows 10 pro running Pyramix). MAD was updates as well (required). I was having dropout issues on both the playback and the record side. Problem still exists and we thought it might be computer related.
Since the firmware was updated to the latest version, I had to update my remote laptop systems MAD, as well as my HORUS firmware. Now I have the same problems on this system- mostly dropouts and tics on playback, but sometimes on the record side. I am noticing there is a lot of dropping Aneman connection and the CPU in Pyramix spikes as well as running about double its usual percentage.
Two other engineers having the same issue. Anyone have solutions? Not a good time to have this happen during holiday season concert recording...
