Anyone tried Pyramix on an M1 Mac using Parallels?

Postby fl » Sun Jul 03, 2022 15:15

It seemed that for a number of years, a significant portion of Pyramix users were using Macs (with Intel processors) with Bootcamp to run Windows on them. With the advent of the M1 processor, native Windows installs are not possible, and the only way to run Windows is with a simulator like Parallels. The conventional wisdom was that the processing delays with a simulator would interfere with the real time audio operations of a DAW like Pyramix.

Yet, the new M1 processors are capable of such fast processing, I'm wondering if this restriction may be a thing of the past. Has anyone tried?
