I was working in one of the mastering mixer presets. I had settings on a Strip Tools and a Bus Tools plugin along with some associated automation with them. I then generated a CD image. Without closing the project I came back to it an hour later to find that all the settings on the 2 plugins had reset to their opening values. Automation was still fine. When I went back to auto saved version of the project they were also reset. In a few years of working on the system I have never had anything like this happen before.
So other than being Friday the 13th, is there any key I could have hit that reset them?

Of course, this could be a Pyramix problem. But I would suggest that you go into Automation...Tracks & look into the mixer elements which were "vaporized". Chances are you mistakenly automated them back to their flat positions.
I find this to be a very easy mistake to make with the mixer. Whenever I begin any automation, the first thing I do is to automation-isolate the entire mixer, and then arm only the controls which I want to automate (which are usually just the input faders). That way, whenever you reach for a pan-pot, EQ knob, compression or dither on/off switch etc., these controls are not automated (unless you want them to be).
Even then....I have found on occasion Pyramix will sometimes write automation to an isolated control (although I haven't noticed this recently, at least not since version 4.2).
