Greetings,
Is it possible to disable the quickmount feature? PMX seems to either hunt for any previous Quickmount files or caches previously-used files so that it is impossible to import new versions with the same or similar name. This behavior is driving us mad!

In All Settings, go to the general page and select from the four different option under the heading "on project opening". There are choices which bypass looking at the quickmount library. Likewise, if you are talking about the mounting of a folder into an already open Project there is a way to do that as well. In the "choose a media Folder to mount" dialogue box that opens for you to access and mount a folder, there is a tick box to mount using quickmount files, or not. hope this help
