Hi,
how can I use clips with different sample rate on a timeline with i.e. 44.1k. Thought that there should be automatic resampling / SRC, but I can not get it working. What do I wrong? The clips have a red 'SR' mark and are played back with wrong pitch.

Re: Clips with different sample rate on Timeline
Hi Swen,
You'll have to look in the Settings /All Settings /Playback/Record under Realtime Sample Rate Conversion and make sure one of the SRC options is enabled. This also needs to be enabled if creating a CD master even in non-realtime from clips that are not at 44.1k.
Hope this helps.
Cheers,
Tom

Re: Clips with different sample rate on Timeline
Hi Tom,
thank you very much! It helped .
I was pretty sure that there should be a wrong setting somewhere, maybe I have overseen the checkbox, and the manual did not help here much.
Now it seems that Pyramix will do virtually everything I need (started some days ago after a 25+ years of Samplitude, I looked for a solution simply / comfortably using more than one surround format on a timeline, and doing mastering and up / downmixes without pain... )
What a month - 25th anniversary, new software, new main monitors - think I am ready for the next xx years ...
Best regards,
Swen

Re: Clips with different sample rate on Timeline
Oldish thread, but as a Pyramix newbie I had the same question as Swen - thanks Tom, your answer sorted it for me
After many years of SADiE, having multiple sample rates/formats in the same playlist is quite something.
