- Pyramix 25th Anniversary HotFix3 comes with a new MassCore RTX64 3.7.4 version users will need to un-install MassCore.
If you are running a Pyramix prior to this new HotFix3 you will need to first remove Pyramix, then install Pyramix 25th Anniversary HotFix 3 to then remove the previous MassCore, reboot and install the new one. Please follow the Pyramix Installation Guide and the MassCoreRTX64 3.7.4 InstallationGuide.pdf for all details.
- This new MassCore update is running on RTX64 3.7.4 and no longer requires the need of a SSK-HUD-RTX dongle
- At the Pyramix 25th Anniversary install you might have a “Bonjour” pending and other Microsoft requirements to install. Please proceed with those installations and afterwards the Pyramix installer will start. Once Pyramix is installed and MassCore installed from the MT Security> MassCore Tab it is Mandatory that you reboot your system.
- If you are not successfully installing Pyramix at the first installation on Windows 10, restart your system and launch again the Pyramix installer, as some pending requirements might have been installed in the first place.
- New Merging Cloud based security as of the Pyramix 25th Anniversary version are available. This new Cloud security has been implemented for new users needing to run Pyramix, Ovation or VCube without a Merging SafeNet Dongle. For Keys information refer to keys@merging.com
Note: SafeNet keys cannot be transferred to Cloud security model for a chosen release. This process can only be done at the Upgrade stage. Users that wish to transfer their SafeNet keys to the Cloud keys model would have to return their SafeNet dongle to Merging, prior to getting transferred to the Cloud. Contact your local Merging Sales Partner for more details
- VCube 9.0.6 HotFix and Ovation 9.0.6 HotFix are in sync with Pyramix 25th Anniversary HotFix and should be installed along if on the same system. Merging highly recommends that you consider the Video playback support included in Pyramix that was greatly improved with the 25th Anniversary.
- VB Plugins (VS3) are no longer installed by default. A separate installer is required. Follow the procedure here below.
