Hi, All, and Happy New year...
Since a fresh re-install of my system, I cannot validate my keys : in the MT Security control panel I can see the safenet dongle and his serial number, but not my name and organisation name. So, there is not the "permanent" mentions in the options list, and the MT Security control panel is inactive...
Anybody have an idea ?
Thank you and best regards,
Bernard

Stupid questions.

- What version are you using?
Are the keys for that version? (You need new keys for the major versions)
Have you done any windows updates? Have you checked the installed updates against the merging blacklist? ( https://confluence.merging.com/pages/vi ... d=25755762 )
Did you disable Antivirus and Defender during install?
Have you tried a fresh install using MT Cleanup? ( https://confluence.merging.com/display/ ... MT+Cleanup )

Re: MT Security Control panel problem
Hi, Mark, it's a 10.2 version of Pyramix Native, this version was working fine until I have to re-install completely windows on my computer. So it's the latest version of windows installed. I have used the "F7 tip" before installing Pyramix.
Best regards, Bernard

Re: MT Security Control panel problem
Bernard,
Sadly, the latest version of Windows 10, version 1809, has caused serious problems all over the world, for many users and many types of 3rd party software. Subsequent efforts by Microsoft have not fixed things yet.
The most recent version of Win10 supported by Merging is 1803. Unfortunately, there seems to be no easy method to revert to 1803 once the upgrade has been made. Do you have a system backup that you could restore?
All users of Win10 should be aware that Microsoft has resumed forced upgrading to 1809. Information about a utility which can help you control the Win10 updating process can be found here: https://win10.guru/introducing-windows- ... -for-wumt/

Re: MT Security Control panel problem
Hi, Franck,
indeed, these updates "imposed" by Microsoft, cause a lot of worries around the world, and in many areas ... grrr! !
I will indeed try to go back to an older version of Windows,
but it will not be easy because microsoft checks everything, and more and more ...
I hope that the Google translation of this text will not be too disastrous ... or comic
very best of regards,

Re: MT Security Control panel problem
Ah, so it's Google that's translating..., that explains a bit. There's no "c" in "Frank". And while I'm at it, there's no "h" in "want". Whenever I see "whant" in one of your posts, it conjures up the cartoon image of the "typical" Frenchman, with a beret on his head, cigarette on his lips, a shirt with horizontal black and white stripes, and of course, a LARGE glass of excellent red wine in hand. No offense intended, but it always makes me smile.
There are many sites online which provide information about how to defer (deporter?) Windows 10 updates, when you've had a chance to get back up and running with version 1803:
https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/hel ... re-updates
https://www.computerworld.com/article/3 ... 0-pro.html
https://www.intowindows.com/defer-or-bl ... e-updates/
and this page from the Pyramix Knowledge base:
