I am new to the forum but need help to configure Merging Technologies as a clock slave.
One of my Genelec 8430AIP speakers is a master, but the Merging Technology application needs to be configured as the clock slave indicating a successful clock synch.
How would I configure the Merging RAVENNA/AES67 application to send a RAVENNA compatible stereo audio stream for example at 48 kHz sampling rate at 24 bit word length.

Re: Merging clock slave
Hi,
It's relatively simple to connect the Genelec 8430A to a CoreAudio system.
You will access the Speakers Settings in the MTDiscovery (AudioLan Pages).
Then, in the Advanced Pages, select a Session Source for CoreAudio, and the Streams consumers in the Genelec 8430A pages.
Be sure to set the Sampling rate and résolution in the General Settings > Audio configuration Tab to the same as the session.
Best regards,
Guillaume

Re: Merging clock slave
Hi,
I do not have the option to select MassCore (on SUPPORT-64) in MT Discovery through the (AUDIOLAN Pages).
In the Advanced Pages of AUDIOLAN and Source Stream settings I have CoreAudio (on marks-mbp)..1 and
inside the dropdown menu another called sap:CoreAudio (on marks-map)..1
When I try to add the Merging Techno... as the Channel 1 Source Stream upon clicking this icon it takes me directly
into the RAVENNA AES67 now! application which I have currently installed.
How would I configure these settings do I need to install the Merging Application "ANEMAN" again which I had removed
earlier then try to add the MassCore as a source option within the Source Stream dropdown menu.
If possible could you provide further screenshots also how do I attach screen shots of my own setting back to yourself
or add them to as an email attachment via the merging forum.
Regards
Mark Ireland

Re: Merging ''LIKE'' ''HELP''
To Forum,
Would anyone ''LIKE'' to comment on this post and if they are running AES67 RAVENNA with Genelec 8430AIP Monitors on a Mac based system.
This has been an issue for me the last member to post a reply was helpful but I am new to streaming audio over IP and would be grateful
for any further ''HELP'' on setting these monitors with Merging Technologies ANEMAN, MTDiscovery, and the Merging RAVENNA/AES67 application.
