Hi guys,
I was just wondering if there was a way to monitor above 192kHz using the headphone output when both AD8P and DA8P cards are installed. Even when the DA card is disconnected in the control panel and the headphone output is green and connected, I wasn't able to monitor in DXD. All worked below 192kHz.
Are the only solutions to take the AD card physically out or use an external headphone amp?
Cheers and thanks!
Tom

Are the cards DSD Cards? If no, I suspect that is the issue. Also, do you have DSD/DXD keys?

Re: Hapi and monitoring
Hi Mark,
Yes they are the premium cards, so I guess the resources limit of 8 i/o for DXD/DSD is a hardware rather than software thing. Rather minor issue as it would have been handy to use the internal headphone amp as it's much better than my external one (and one less thing to plug in!)
Perhaps in the future there could be more flexibility in assigning the I/o as I was only needing 2 outputs active rather than 8!
Cheers,
Tom
