PMX 64 bit with Izotope RX4

Postby charly van rest » Sun Apr 19, 2015 17:19

Hello There
Does anyone have experience with Izotope RX 4 (advance) in Pyramix 9.1-64 bit (Masscore) ?
Pyramix 64 bit does not support 32 bit vst's (at the moment ?)
In the RX4 specs on the Izotope site one cannot see if RX4 is 32 or 64 bit and because there's not one session
I'm not using RX4 I wonder if it's smart to upgrade to PMX 64.
Best Regards

I'm pretty sure RX4 is 64 bit compatible.

Thank's a lot Frank for your reply
It makes me a little more convenient to upgrade from 32 bit to 64..
But I'm hoping for a reply from someone with experiences in using RX4 in PMX 9.1-64..
Regards
Charly

RX4-64bit working in Pyramix beta 10-MassCore. Might even work with PMX9 but I can't help with that.

Hello,

I use Pyramix 9.1.7 with Izotope RX4 Advanced,
works pretty well. Pyramix rack is always very long to open, but it works.

Thanks a lot for your reply Yann

Same experiences here, sometimes i have to open RX 4 adv. twice,
but after that it works fine.

Unfortunately during a transfer from my old 32 bit vst's to the 64 bit versions
one 32 bit vst has slipped into de PMX Plugin folder (cannot remove it cause it's also
in the register), Now & then PMX (9.1.6) freezes when i want to add a random vst
in the mixer-inserts.

Greeting,
Charly (Rotterdam)
