Graphics Card to fit in smaller space

Postby paulicox » Sun May 30, 2010 20:44

Hi,

Does anybody know if the recommended (Sapphire Radeon HD4350 1 GB DDR2 DVI/VGA/HDMI PCI-Express Video Card 100274HDMI) video card could fit in a pretty full micro ATX case? If not, does anybody know of a smaller graphics card that is pmx compatible?

I have a Mykerinos Card/Masscore system housed in micro ATX case that I use for remote recording, etc. I'm using a Gigabyte motherboard who's digital out put can NOT be converted to analogue. I have a bunch of minor issues that from the feedback I've gotten on this forum seem to point to the unsupported graphics card which I am currently using. (Nvideia GeForce 7300 SE/7200 GS).

Many Thanks,
Paul

Hi,

GeForce = no go for MassCore

The nVidia Quadro NV290 series is very small and fanless. I used one with my MassCore system and it cured the GeForce blues. The card you are enquiring about is also a half-length PCI card and may well fit in your micro-ATX box, although I obviously cannot say for certain.

The Saphire Radeon HD4350 uses 1 slot, it should fit in your MicroATX case, its nearly the same size as a Mykerinos board.
