Being Able To Edit Whilst Recording

It would really speed up my workflow if I could be editing something in the timeline (even if it's basic top & tailing) whilst recording new clips later in the timeline.

Try a 'digitizing session' and see if that works for you. As long as the sampling rate is the same, it will happily record in the background while you edit in pmx.

I'd like to be able to monitor what i'm recording (and edit tracks without the need for auditioning) and record less than 3 minute record short tracks which makes switching projects a pita
