Touch Sensitive Glass Controller

Postby RickTarrant » Sat Apr 28, 2012 17:56

My friend Mike Poston, and Pyramix rep, sent me this video from Corning glass. I believe they make the Gorilla glass for iPhones and iPads.

Maybe one day we can reach out and turn a 3-D knob or push a virtual fader on our Flexible Pyramix work surface.

Maybe in Version 8? 8)

If you still can only move one fader at a time, it's as useless for mixing as a mouse, but more shiny :D

But in my dream scenario we would have unlimited faders and knobs and switches all on a glass desktop! Just like Star Trek - beam me up Scotty! :)

Isn't that amazing?!

I'm reminded of the quote: "If the mind can conceive it and you can believe it, you can achieve it."
