Current take number popup

I would very much like to see a current take number popup.
All I need is a three digit display with fontsize 48 or so.
This would help the producer keep track of the current take number.

It has been suggested repeatedly and must be somewhere in that huge database of useful suggestions, priority level unknown.

*update*: it was issue MT3309, and the take number is actually visible in the clip and in the Alt+R window during recording, even though the formatting is not ideal.

Hi Guys

Now, when in Record, the clip being recorded shows the name of the current recording (take mnumber)

as well, the record status window (available via View>Windows and Toolbars>Record Status) shows the take name as well

Available in the 7.0 release

Johan, I ran V7 in an orchestra session for the first time today, and the record status window was very well received by the producer.
Small things such as this can make a big difference!

It would be even better if take name/ number could be edited in this window before or while I'm recording a take so that the popup window will show the updated name once the recording is stopped.

Actually this line should just directly be linked to "Take Name" under Settings/Recording
