Automation state displayed

Postby tim » Fri May 21, 2010 04:30

I've had so much good luck in the suggestions forum lately (with "Disable Keyboard Commands to Mixer" being adopted so quickly in the new release!) I thought I'd give it another try. How about some display on the Pmix screen somewhere showing us whether we're currently in Write To End, or Auto Release, etc? We have the displays at the bottom of the screen indicating which nudge setting is selected, as well as a few other things. But I constantly switch between automation states (with key shortcuts), & having an indication of current automation mode (as we do of course with Auto Ripple/Overwrite modes) would be very helpful.

It is already there. Toolbar.

General Settings/Desktop Layout/Automation. Set the toolbar Status of Automation Modes to Present. Place them where you want in the toolbar and rightclick in the empty toolbar docking space and choose Save Toolbars Layout from the popup.
...Gracefully Ignored...
