Page timeline left & right

Hi,

I have the view menu commands scroll timeline left and right mapped to keyboard shortcuts and find them really handy when editing, sometimes with free cursor while playing turned on. I think it would be handy to also have the option to page timeline left and right, which would keep the current level of zoom intact but just page the edit window display left and right. It would save me multiple scroll left or right key commands, making my button pushing more efficient.

Try holding CTRL and using your mouse wheel. Not exactly what you're looking for but far more effective that nudging scroll one at at time.

There is one. View/Scroll timeline Right and View/Scroll timeline Left. On a sidenote: I would love to see PMX Pagescroll at a user definable point and not when the cursor has left the page. It is always troublesome during mixing, since you dont see things coming. Fixed cursor while playing is too buggy for me, wont work.

Thanks Jaap. I use View/Scroll timeline left/right all the time, what i'm asking about is to have Page timeline left/right in the menu's so I can map a key command to it, which would save me having to press View/Scroll timeline left/right as many times.

Cursor and Marks -> Show cursor goes close enough to what I want to accomplish.

It's really a minor thing, in the grand scheme of things. I'm just being annoying.

Well then make a macro that performs three or four Scroll Left/Rights.

I do agree however that there is much room for improvement here.
