Normally in Pyramix I keep all the buttons in the edit window turned off to keep the interface clean using:
General Settings -> Desktop Layout -> Remove all buttons
But i've been using automation more lately and have found it handy to have a few of the automation buttons turned on so i can see at a glance what automation mode i'm in (write or trim, and the release settings). Since I have a little space in the tool bar at the bottom of the edit window (to the right of the automation (on, play, write and snapshot buttons), i've been dragging the buttons down to this toolbar where they fit nicely. Unfortunately on closing Pyramix it doesn't seem to remember that i dragged these buttons down to the bottom of the screen and they appear back up at the top of the edit window again (just under the various mark in/out, gate in/out location displays).
It would be really great if Pyramix could remember where I left the buttons, rather than having to move them around everytime.

Re: Desktop Layout Buttons
this drove me nuts for a long time until I stumbled across the answer by mistake!
if you right click on the tool bar area (either at the bottom or top of the screen) and click "save toolbars layout" this will now keep your arrangement when you next open pyramix.

Re: Desktop Layout Buttons
Brilliant! Thanks!
Is it just me or would it make sense to just have the toolbar layout changes always save?
