Mobile Phone Source

Hi Guys, I'm trying to setup the Anubis to accept input from my iPhone 12 Pro on the "3 INST/LINE" source. I have the Apple Lightning to 1/8" female jack adapter and an 1/8" male to 1/4" male cable that connects to the Anubis. I have this source enabled but I only hear some of the audio and most of it is very distorted. I've tried making this mono and stereo and everything I can think of, but to no avail.

Question: Does anyone know how to use a mobile device as a source with the Anubis? I just can't figure it out. I have a microphone connected to MIC/LIN input 1.

It could be that Anubis input is balanced and the phone output is unbalanced stereo.
Try an adaptor from the phone with two mono teleplugs into ch 3 and 4 on Anubis.

Thanks for the reply. I will see if I can track down such a cable.

The Anubis manual says that both unbalanced and balanced are supported.

"3 & 4. Instrument/Line: 1⁄4” connector Jack can be connected to phone type (unbalanced or balanced) plugs for Hi-Z or Line inputs. For connection to a drum machine, synthesizer, electric guitar (active or passive pickups), electric bass (active or passive pickups), direct box, pedal board or in order to connect an external analog processing chain."

Did you change the instrument and line input in the Anubis ? either in the web page or the Anubis LCD settings page ?

I got a 1/8” to dual 1/4” cable and it works.
