Anubis with ipad as source?

Hello,

Is it possible to use a ipad with a ethernet cable as the source into the Anubis, so the ipad playing garage band or itunes would be the source?

Hi,

Our VAD Driver supports macOS and not iOS, so the answer is NO at this moment we don’t’ have a driver for iOS.

The one thing you can do with your iphone/ipad is access the Anubis via the WebAccess remote control page using the IP address in a Browser.

You don't need to give a timeline but is there work progressing for an iOS VAD driver?

Or nobody has started to look into this?

Its not in our developement plans at the moment. We've had lesss than a handful demands for the moment. Let see how it evolutes.

Just wondering if Apple Silicon M1 is in your development plans?

I assume that answer is yes but the more interesting question that follows - will Apple Silicon support automatically mean iOS support ?

RME, Steinberg, Universal Audio interfaces support iOS so would be nice for Merging too.

Especially for mobile applications: iPad Pro + Merging Anubis .... very mobile and powerful combination

I cannot exactly tell you when we'll have it, we started some evaluation and will surely need to work on the VAD as today it's not even worth trying to install it. I own an M1 myselft so as soon as there is more info I'll share.
