Anubis ethernet setup

Postby pepe44 » Thu Nov 12, 2020 00:13

Hi all.
Im using a desktop PC with windows 10 Education version 1903 64 bits.
My audio interface is the Anubis Pro and i have a dedicated NIC (TP Link - Realtek PCIe GbE ) for the Anubis and using the internal NIC for the internet.
I have setup dedicated IP adresses for both cards. The Anubis NIC i´ve configured to start on 192.168.2.1 being the Anubis on manual config set to 192.168.2.10. The Internet NIC its configured to be 192.168.1.1 network. For now all is good. Im not using a switch on my home setup, for now.
My question is. since i´m dealing with IP adresses and network audio, is there any fine tunning i can make in order to improve the data flow and by consequence doest that affect in somehow the sound "quality" ?

I followed most steps on the confluence page. Just trying to dig a bit more on the network audio side of things.
While i understand that my setup is fine for now i believe that to take the full speed of the ethernet card some tweaks can be made, correct me if i´m wrong.

Thanks in advanced.
