Dear all,
I am using my Merging Hapi with an external high quality 12V DC power supply.
Are there any disadvantages if I keep the Hapi on 24/7? For example reduced lifetime of components?
My past experience with other DAC’s showed me they sound a bit better when warm.
Best regards,
Walt

Re: Hapi powered on 24/7
Walt,
I've had 2 Hapi and a Horus for our 3 studios powered on for about 5 years. As long as the basic safety issues like heat dissipation are managed, we've had no issues.
All the best,
Mark
