Computer suggestions
Currently running Pyramix 12 in Bootcamp on a Mac Mini, but contemplating moving to a PC. Looking for suggestions on a reasonably priced, sufficiently powerful, rack-mount PC. Does anyone have experience with the Dell Precision 3930 Rack Workstation which looks like a good choice. I am fairly new to Pyramix, after using Mac programs for 30 years. Thanks
Re: Computer suggestions
Hi David,
Welcome!
You're currently running the Native version of Pyramix, so no matter which computer you buy, you'll only be running on a single core of the CPU. Only the MassCore systems are multi-CPU savvy. If that's not an issue, the Dell will be fine, if overkill.
These guys make good stuff, service it well and offer great warranties:

Re: Computer suggestions
David,
I agree with Graemme, with native being single thread, it doesn't make a lot of sense to spend a lot on a computer. Are you running any merging hardware? if so then Masscore is a great upgrade in performance.
Here is the link to the validated PC hardware with configuration guides.

Re: Computer suggestions
Thanks Graeme and Mark,
I'm looking into adk, and will purchase a computer with a future Mass Core update in mind.
Best,
DG
