The Merging Technologies Development Team is pleased to announce the HotFix release of Pyramix 11.1.6, Ovation 7.1.6 and VCube 7.1.6 Builds 284. These new versions include improvements and bug fixes.
Important: Pyramix v11.1.6 HotFix comes with a new MassCore RTX64 v3.6.2 that is supporting Windows 10 October 2018 update (1809) and the Zombieload Windows 10 updates.
The Windows 10 May 2019 update 1903/19H1 is not supported by MassCore.
The Pyramix 11.1.6 HotFix version contains the following fixes
- General:
- PMX111-300: Fixed. MTSSRv can crash during Pyramix start up or can cause MT Security instabilities
- MSC-65: Fixed. MassCore: Ultra and Extra Low Latency, in DXD, caused an RTSS issue in SMP mode
- MSC-66: Fixed. DSD projects improved spreading over SMP cores
- MSC-67: Fixed. RTX64 not properly uninstalled form MT Security Settings>MassCore tab

- PMX111-311 Fixed. Bypass VST plugin status not retrieved correctly at project save/opening.

- - Non-MassCore users updating to the new firmware (v3.9.4b40042 and higher) will need to also update their RAVENNA ASIO Driver (PC). This is mandatory due to recent firmware changes.

- Easy Connect remains installed with Pyramix for those who wish to use it, see release notes for details. Be aware that you cannot run simultaneously ANEMAN and Easy Connect, but rather one or the other to avoid conflicts.
- Pyramix 11.1.6 HotFix comes with a new MassCore version RTX64 3.6.2. It is necessary to remove the previous Pyramix version if you were running a Pyramix version v11.1.5 HotFix and prior from the Windows Programs and Features, and then reboot your system before installing Pyramix v11.1.5 HotFix. Uninstall the previous MassCore from the MT Security MassCore tab, reboot again and install the new MassCore version. Please follow the Pyramix v11.1 Installation Guide for all details.
- If you are planning to update to Windows 10 October 2018 Update (1809), in such case MassCore users must follow the procedure document

- At the Pyramix 11 install you might have a “Bonjour” pending and other Microsoft requirements to install. Please proceed with those installations and afterwards the Pyramix installer will start. Once Pyramix is installed and MassCore installed from the MT Security> MassCore Tab it is Mandatory that you reboot your system.
- If you are not successfully installing Pyramix 11.1 at the first installation on Windows 10, restart your system and launch again the Pyramix 11.1 installer, as some pending requirements might have been installed in the first place.
- Pyramix Default Templates are located under C:\ProgramData\Merging Technologies\Pyramix\Templates
- The VCube 7.1.6 HotFix is in sync with Pyramix 11.1.6 HotFix and should be installed along it on a combo system. Merging highly recommends that you evaluate the Video playback support included in Pyramix 11.1 before installing VCube, it might do just what you need.

VCube v7.1.6 HotFix Build 284
VCube v7.1 includes the Windows 10 October 2018 Update support (1809) along with the Zombieload updates, improvements and bug fixes.

INSTALLATION:
VCube v7.1 is supported under the following Windows 64bit versions.
- Windows 10: Anniversary (1607)
Windows 10: Creator (1703)
Windows 10: Fall Creator (1709)
Windows 10: Spring Creator (1803)
Windows 10 & Windows 7 SP1: With the Meltdown and Spectre updates
WARNING: Windows May 2019 Update 1903/19H1 not supported with MassCore [/list]
WARNING: Merging recommends that Windows 10 users defer their Windows update, this is explained in our Windows 10 configuration guide here

WARNING: VCube 7.1 runs with v7 Keys
WARNING: AJA (KONA Lhi) not supported as of VCube 7.0 on Windows 10. Users on Windows 7 will have support but no further development or maintenance.
- If you are planning to update to Windows 10 October 2018 Update (1809), in such case MassCore users must follow the procedure document

- Merging recommends that users remove the previous version of VCube installed on their system prior to installing VCube 7.1
- You might be warned of pending requirements at installation please proceed and install accordingly if so
- For the Blackmagic design Video Cards installation please follow the VCube Release Notes
- The VCube configuration is configured through the VS3 Control Panel
- Users with Pyramix and VCube installed on the same system, must upgrade Pyramix to v11.1.6 HotFix to go along side VCube v7.1.6 HotFix.
Merging highly recommends that you consider the Video playback support included in Pyramix 11.1 before installing VCube, it might do just what you need.
