Pyramix 11, Ovation 7, VCube 7 & ANEMAN 1 Official Release

Dear Merging Customers,

The Merging Technologies Development Team is pleased to announce the release of Pyramix 11, VCube 7, Ovation 7 and ANEMAN 1.

To run those new versions you must use the new V11/V7 keys! Users with a valid ASM plan will receive those keys automatically.
If you have not received your keys yet please verify with your Merging local sales partner or contact keys@merging.com
Make sure that this is the case before you download and install this version.

Pyramix 11 Released

This new Pyramix 11 version includes; new features, improvements and bug fixes. Refer to the release notes for more details.

PYRAMIX 11 HIGHLIGHTS:
- Windows 10 support for Pyramix MassCore (New MassCore/RTX 3.2 version)
- Windows 10 support for Pyramix Native
- Pyramix 11 includes ANEMAN (Audio NEtwork MANager)
- New FX Rendering feature
- Merging RAVENNA ASIO driver v11 now supporting Windows 10 and AES67
- Pyramix Video preview and Black Magic support improvements
- Controllers support improvements (S3/S6)

WARNING: ANEMAN is the RAVENNA Easy Connect replacement and installed along with Pyramix 11. Refer to the AENEMAN User Manual for all details. ANEMAN specific feedback can be sent to ANEMAN[at]merging.com
- Easy Connect remains installed with Pyramix for those who wish to use it, see release notes for details. Be aware that you should not run simultaneously ANEMAN and Easy Connect, but rather one or the other to avoid conflicts
- Users that have a Pyramix version already installed must remove their Pyramix and follow the Pyramix 11 Installation Guide
- Pyramix 11 uses a NEW MassCore version, refer to the installation guide for all details
- At the Pyramix 11 install you might have a “Bonjour” pending and other Microsoft requirements to install. Please proceed with those installations and afterwards the Pyramix installer will start. Once Pyramix is installed and MassCore installed from the MT Security> MassCore Tab it is Mandatory that you reboot your system.
- If you are not successfully installing Pyramix 11.0 at the first installation on Windows 10, restart your system and launch again the Pyramix 11.0 installer.
- Pyramix Default Templates are now located under C:\ProgramData\Merging Technologies\Pyramix\Templates
- The VCube 7.0 is in sync with Pyramix 11.0 and should be installed along it on a combo system. Merging highly recommends that you evaluate the Video playback support included in Pyramix 11.0 before installing VCube, it might do just what you need.
- The Flux plugins V3/VS3 series come as a separate installer. Users should install the latest Flux available version (currently tag as Pyramix 10 in Flux Center): https://www.fluxhome.com/download

WARNING: The VCube users running on 32bit OS with Mykerinos will have to remain on VCube v5.1, since Mykerinos is not supported under 64bit OS. Please consult your options as per the VCube configuration page.
- Merging recommends that users remove the previous version of VCube installed on their system prior to installing VCube 7.0
- You might be warned of pending requirements at installation please proceed and install accordingly if so
- For the Blackmagic design Video Cards installation please follow the VCube Release Notes
- The VCube configuration is configured through the VS3 Control Panel
- Users with Pyramix and VCube installed on the same system, must upgrade Pyramix to 11.0 to go along side VCube 7.0. Merging highly recommends that you consider the Video playback support included in Pyramix 11.0 before installing VCube, it might do just what you need.
