Hi all,
I don't know how many people read this forum, it doesn't appeared to be well used, but worth a try.
I have Ovation Native which was bought for a purpose, that purpose has come and gone but I maintain the software for the odd occasion I need it.
I was using it yesterday and wanted a cue to start, play, at a marker, to loop back to a previous marker. How can you audition this? From what I can work out, interaction rules only work when in Show Mode but you cannot edit the position of the markers in that mode. Also when in show mode, the only way to test the loop is to play the entire cue, fine if the cue is only a few seconds, but if it is minutes long, the process will take all day as you position the markers, go into show mode, play the cue, then come out of show mode to edit the marker positions and go through this process again. I tried using Pyramix but looping from the out marker back to the in marker isn't seamless.
How do other users audition interaction rules? I've looked in the manual but couldn't find anything that suggests this is possible.
Stay healthy,
Julian
