DSD render problem

Postby Gonzalo Noqué » Sat Oct 05, 2013 10:50

Hi everybody!

I always encounter the same problem while DSD rendering a large project (a whole disc, for example): after creating the temporary DSD files, in the "Processind EDL" dialog box, the remaining time decreases as expected, but when it reaches "Remaining time: 0 seconds", it stays there indefinitely, and the only possible option is cancelling it, after which the rendered file is not complete.
But this doesn´t happen if the project to be rendered is short.
Has anybody had this problem? I am currently using version 8.1.5, Masscore, could it be something alredy fixed in the next releases?

Thanks!

Have you tried v8.1.9
Use cleanup 8.1 first and do a fresh install of 8.1.9

Thanks!

Yes, that solved the problem, although it still needs a lot of time to process a one-hour surround recording!

I upgraded to 8.1.10 and it definitely fixed the problem. I can do render a whole 1hr. project in literally seconds!
