Dx effects resetting

Postby Silas » Mon Feb 05, 2007 21:08

Hi All,

I noticed today that the ancient bug where if you reorder Dx plugs from on a mixer strip (move up, move down) the settings of the plug you're moving get reset to flat. Rather nasty when you've been slaving over that mix and need to make one more little adjustment to the processing order...

Hi Silas,

Hmmm we could confirm the problem, now MT001343 in our database, we'll see what can be done for a quick fix.

Thanks,
Ricardo

Hi Silas,

Hey thanks!
The good news is that we managed to fix it today for the Pyramix 5.1 SP1 due out very soon.

Thanks for fixing that. I would love to see this kind of fast attention to the 'Pyramix projects always minimize when switching among open projects' bug that has been around for months. Any chance of fixing that in 5.1 SP1? Please?
Thanks,
Steve

Hi Steve,

After a discussion and looking into it with the developer, we came to the conclusion that such a fix late in the pyramix 5.1SP1 release cycle is too risky for us. The problem was introduced in the 5.0 GUI changes and is known as MT000804. We will certainly fix this one for the next major release. We hope you understand.

Ricardo
