Matrox Parhelia 3 TFTs -wrong size of DS full screen display

Postby bodo.biber » Thu Feb 09, 2006 12:08

Hello,
though I tried all different monitor-konfigurations (3 displays + extended Desktop, 2 independent monitors + 1 functional monitor, 2 monitors with extended desktop + 1 functional monitor) of my matrox parhelia, I could not manage to make the DS-Player in Virtual Transport show the picture in the correct size when choosing full screen mode. It always results in too big picture covering a part oft the second monitor display too. Any suggestions if and how the problem is to be solved?

best regards, bodo.biber

Hi,

In Matrox Power Desk:

I got it set-up as two displays (1280 x 1024) stretch mode + 1 feature display. And I have the Video Overlay feature active for the 3rd screen (TV).

The TV out is in SD, so resolution is about 800 x 600 or so.

With this, only the video informatin of DS Video Player is displayed in the TV screen, while I can still have DS Video Player in full screen in screen 1 or screen 2.

Besides the usual 16/9 or 4/3 adjustments needed to match the size of the SD picture (DS VP can do this for the computer screen and your TV monitor must offer such a feature too) all looks OK in my system.

Of course, all this is also related to the video file resolution...

Hope this helps
