Hi All.
As many of you know already, I've been using Pyramix for a very long time. I know (of) many features, but there are some I haven't yet figured out. Maybe someone can help me?
I'm working a lot with automation and in that context, Pyramix has many different kinds of Snapshots and I'm using a few. Two, that I haven't yet figured out how to use are the two camera symbols at the bottom of he screen: Snapshot and Snapshot Range.
I know that by pressing them, you can record a filtered set of parameters under the cursor or between the in/out markers.
But then what?
Can you recall those settings somewhere else in your timeline?
Where are they recorded?
What does it really mean to record the selected parameters over a range? Maybe to record a panner movement or something similar?
Looking forward to finally learn how to use these. I have a feeling they can be quite useful somehow...
Cheers

Re: Snapshots in Pyramix
Hi Per, the one camera icon can be clicked to store the preferred mixer settings on that specific point in time on the timeline. The double camera icon can be used, for using the same mixer setting between two points in the timeline. For instance you want different fader settings, eq etc. for one song or region in your timeline. Set your markers, deselect everything. Turn automation off, make changes to your mixer and click the double camera to make the snapshot range. Turn automation on (play) and when the cursor comes to the inpoint of your regions it will play the new automation till the marker out where it returns to any previous automation.
