Solo Monitoring Level

Hi everyone,

Is there a way to increase solo monitoring level ? To prevent from always changing monitoring level during concert recording sessions...

I'm on Pyramix 10.

It sounds like what you want is a "Pre-Fade Listen" option in the Mixer, but sadly there is no such thing in Pyramix - Solo is always post-fader. However, remember that the Mixer is in the signal chain AFTER the files are written to the hard drive, so any changes you make to your mix will not affect what's being recorded (unless you are making an additional recording of the Mixer's Main Bus Output). So you can Solo the Strip you wish to check, make note of its fader level as shown in its numeric display field, then push up the fader sufficiently so that you can hear what you need, then click (once) on the numeric display field to re-enter the value that was there to re-establish your mix and un-Solo - all of which is slightly less fiddly than going through the Monitor control window.
