I've read the MultiFile Fixerpdf but despite following the instructions carefully several times, the application has not successfully renamed any files for me. Can you help me out?
I've been given a set of 8-channel takes that are all mono wave files. I'd like to treat them as 8-track master clips in PMX, and this works fine when I manually rename the mono files according to the _##X##_ convention. But the MultiFile app returns "0 files renamed" whenever I point it at the files' folder. The tracks were originally named "Trackname-1.wav," "Trackname-2.wav," etc. The pre-number field I've used is "-" and the post-number field is "None" as shown in the instructions. Are there some tricks I need to know about?
Thanks!
