Hi,
is there a way to autoselect the edl after having chosen a marker in the marker list?
I am recording every take with a Marker and it is very convenient to jump to this marker by selecting it in the Marker list. Nevertheless, it's annoying to click the edl-window every time you've selected a marker to reactivate the fuctions of transport, hotkeys or macros.
Does anyone know a workaround
Cheers,
Jakob

Hi,
As a workaround try this:
Assign a shortcut to the EDL tab (VIEW Menu\Editor Tabs\EDL Tab).
From now on when you are in the Marker Window and then you press this shortcut key, you will have instant control of all EDL functions again.
I know that this isn't exactly what you wanted, but it works quite well enough for me.
Regards,
Graemme

Hi Jakob,
Doh! My last suggestion is of course rather useless...because the shortcuts don't work from within this window, as you already know...<g>
I have been just clicking on the EDL tab to get around this and though that my shortcut suggestion worked when I built it this morning...now, of course I see that it doesn't...maybe I'll stop staying up so late watching the World Cup...
sheepishly,
Graemme

click right is the solution
sebastian got it!
you doubleclick (left) a number in the marker list to locate your cursor. then CLICK RIGHT and you're back in the edl with all controls. and it's so easy
danke Sebastian

jakob
