Locking CD Marks to clips for cut and paste?

Postby sonicjones » Mon Jun 27, 2005 22:42

Is it still true that one can't lock marks to clips in order to cut and paste both marks and clips together into another project or have I missed a post somewhere?

Thanks!

You are correct - it requires two cut/paste operations; one each for the audio and PQ markers.

Best,

Graemme

I should also add that there is a bug in the PQ offset function: If you are using offsets in both the 'cut and 'paste' EDLs, a pasted marker will be offset by the sum of these two offset values.

You might want to check this for yourself, as it's been a while since I last looked...and who knows - it may have been fixed (?)

Thanks, Graemme, and thanks also for your February post about selecting marks; which is a function that is definitely not obvious.

Couldn't help noticing that even though one might select multiple marks in the "All Markers" tab, only one track mark turns red in the track display.

Best,
