Pyramix 11.1.5 Native: Lexicon PCM Native Reverb crashing

Postby ieronim » Tue Apr 09, 2019 18:57

I'm on Pyramix 11.1.5 Native, Windows 10 1809. For the life of me, can't get the Lexicon PCM Native Reverb bundle to work (it's the latest version: 1.3.8 64-bit). It keeps getting blacklisted when scanning the VST plugins. I've already tried the solution presented at the end of this thread with no success:

http://forum.merging.com/viewtopic.php?t=14031&p=39986

1- Close Pyramix and go to C:\ProgramData\Merging Technologies\Plugins then…
2- Rename or delete the AvailablePlugins.pms file and delete any files that have a .crash extension.
3- Relaunch Pyramix.

Also, I reinstalled Pyramix, the Lexicon bundle, the latest iLok software -- no success. The Lex bundle works just fine on the same system in a different DAW (Sonar).

Any ideas?

I have identical setup, Native W10 1809, and LexNative Reverb works fine with that advice above from Merging. Is your plugin still blacklisted or is it loading and then crashing on instantiation?

I had a similar experience when I tried out the Lexicon plug-in. Pyramix 11.1.5 under Win7 would just crash. I never did get it working.

Still blacklisted. If I delete the list of blacklisted plugins, it just gets blacklisted again on the next VST scan. Users report that it was working fine just a month ago, on the same Win10 1809 as we have now (there were no major Windows updates since then). It's just Pyramix that suddenly doesn't like the Lex plugs. Other DAWs load them just fine on the same system. Going crazy...

Go figure. On another system running PMX 11.1.5 on Win7, they work just fine for us. Non-deterministic hell.

Did you follow the instructions accurately? Delete the AvailablePlugins.pms. Delete all *.crash files. Reboot perhaps, then restart PMX and wait patiently through the lengthy re-scan process?
