Duet Display and iPad Pro

Postby Davide Bertolini » Wed Feb 06, 2019 14:21

Hi!

anyone using an iPad Pro as a second monitor on location with Duet Display?
Configurations: both Pyramix Masscore on PC (windows 7, Pyramix 9) and Pyramix Native on a MacBook Pro (windows 10, latest Pyramix).
Mainly interested in display, but touch screen would be an extra bonus.

Thanks!

dB

Hi! Which model of MacBook Pro are your using? I’ve tried with late 2012 but it didn’t work

I've been doing it successfully with a Native system on PC. Win10, Native v11.5, iPad gen 3 (old and otherwise nearly useless!).
Cheers

Amazon was sending me ads a couple months back for a very compact 15" monitor which looks to be aimed at video producers. No bulky stand. It's in a form factor much like an iPad, but much cheaper.

If memory serves, it was from Asus. Worth a search. I'd love to have one for location work, as I can slip it in the same bag as my MacBook pro.
