Back to what I was saying. If you ever need to switch OS (64/32 bit) in Windows, a drive tray is an easy solution. I've installed them on all my machines, not just for OS.

We've been using hotswap drives for production drives for well over 20 years (All the way back in the Sonic days...). Storcase, supermicro, scsi, ide,sata...we have been using raw drive (trayless) for the past 10 years or so. I could never go back.
My comment is that you do not need to swap drives to have different OS versions. You can install multiple OS on a single drive and choose whichever you want at bootup. On my production machines I have three different operating systems, 2x win7 and 1x win10.
