Gentlemen,
and I am about to upgrade my Pyramix system with version 10.1, I wanted to know how to use DIRAC which comes with the software in MassCore Pro. I need occasionally the ability to slow down or speed up the tempo of takes or segments ofd a take in classical recordings. There is no detailed illustration in the Pyramix manual and no explanation or comments found on the Forum. Perhaps someone can report how well it works, how fast it processes audio selected between in/out points. If you have suggestions for other plug-ins which might work better, I would appreciate your help in finding a perfect and practice al solution to this special problem. Thank you for your time to respond!
Happy New Year to all!

Re: DIRAC in Pyramix 10
I've used it to extend a couple of notes in much the way you describe how you'd use it. It's quick and easy, and sounds pretty good. I believe its original intended use is to adjust transitions in a film/video soundtrack that result from revised picture edits, but it's equally at home stretching or shrinking notes in music. Before I had this, I was using (infrequently) zplane's Elastique - https://products.zplane.de/elastique-pitch-2. If I require something more comprehensive, I look to the Pitch/Time operations contained within Izotope RX5 Advanced, which allows you to apply a changing shift over time, which can help with a cappella singers who gradually drift off pitch.
