Dear eric

Well, sometimes i have recorded a few takes and i had to bring the material to the mixing guy on his pro tools ( MAC ! ) system.

The easyest way of doing that was for me to make myself a new mixer with 24 or even more mono outs and to save my song as a mixdown in aiff or wave format. Dont forget to take out the (unique file name) button, and to burn all the files as a data cd, with your favourite burn proggi.

That always worked, because now, all the files are mono and they all have the same length. So its very easy to bring them all together in pro tools or any other proggi.

Also important is the 16/24bit. Not every proggi reads 24 bit!!!

And most important of all, dont spill coffee on the finished cdrs!!!!!!!!!
;-) that saves time and some anger too

It is not necessary to create a 24 strip mixer to do that :
In your original project , make a selection over all tracks and between the beginning of the first clip - End of the last one.

Then Use the "Render" function, selecting the right file format for Pro-tools. It will generate new files for each tracks with exactly the same length.
Be carefull, because this files are placed in your project instead of the originals. Just do one "undo", it won't erase the new generated files.
