Hi. I have several takes recorded on a DA-98 machine, with "time of day" timecode. The takes are not continuous, and so the timecode jumps between takes.
I need to capture these into our pyramix.
At the moment, I'm taking a timecode feed from the DA-98, and making Pyramix chase it, then dropping in to record to capture the audio.
What I'm interested to know, is if there's a way for pyramix to follow the break in timecode, re-sync, and start recording a new clip automatically each time?
I'm running Version 6.16, mykerinos based.
Thanks in advance for any help.

Re: capturing several takes from a DA-98
Set the in and out markers to the entire length of the project.
Set the tracks I wish to record to auto punch (alt-click record on track group)
in All settings->Application->Jog/Chase, DESELECT "Stay in record until stop is pressed"
in All settings->Project->Record DESELECT "prompt for name after each recording"
Now play the DA-98, with timecode connected to Pyramix
Set Pyramix to chase (ctrl-F1)
job done
