Hi,
I just made an MP3 using the MP3 handler - I'm running v6 SP1 on native - and I notice that when I place it up onto a timeline it sputters and drops out during playback. The original 16 bit 44.1 audio (on the same EDL right next to it) plays without a problem. I tried making the MP3 as a render and as a mixdown and tried some different MP3 settings. It always seems to have this problem. I suspected it may be a playback issue so I played the MP3 in windows media player and it was fine. Has anyone else encountered this? Is it a bug with v6? I remember doing this with v5 without a problem.

Uh, pardon my ignorance, but there's an MP3 handler? The manual has nothing to say about this, and neither does my pricelist of add-on features. What is this?
