Hi all!
Can anyone help me with this small problem. I have a overhead stereo track on a strip that i need to pan but PMX will only give me a LR pan pot (not the balance controll) Need to get the oh´s panned in about 75 % of full stereo (and I need to keep them on a stereo strip to keep the current compression I have on it)
Thank you!
Morten

Re: Pan Pot / Balance controll
Hi Morten,
I also find this frustrating - a strange little void in the features. FWIW, I understand that the next version (V6 SP1) currently has a nice balance control / panner for stereo strips....not that that helps much for this project.
You could take the Direct Outs of the stereo strip through 2 Internal Busses and bring them back up on 2 mono strips and pan post comp (obviously only selecting the mono strips to go to the mix buss). The delay compensation in V6 should be able to account for this without issue.

Re: Pan Pot / Balance controll
Hi Morten,
I had this problem too and solved it by inserting a little Plug-In from Vincent Burel called Stereo Manager. It´s a quite versatile and useful tool in order to get stereo signals into the desired position using means of time and volume domain. I use the V.3 Version (running on the myk. card) but there exists a VST version too.
You can get more information about it and can order it here (distrbution through "media-assistance"):
https://ssl.kundenserver.de/s33747397.s ... shopscript
(you just need to enter "stereo manager" in the quick search function of the website)
I use it very often in filmmusic and popmusic productions, but sometimes it´s also helpful to have it for classical music mixes.
