CD Name *'s Not Removed when Validated in V6?

When in the CD/SACD tab and after creating the CD Mark Groups Pyramix adds an "*" to the end of each name. In V5 you used to get rid of this using the "validate name" with the track highlighted. This isn't working in V6 so the "*" remains and I have to manually delete them all which is a PITA!

Is this a bug? The manual says you must "validate name" to remove the "*".

Is it possible to remove the adding of the "*" at all, ie turn the "function" on or off? What is the point of adding the "*"?

Yes, it's a bug. Just confirmed here.

No, not possible to turn it off.

Hi,

Yes this problem (MT0001970) is already fixed in the Pyramix V6.0Sp1 currently in Beta, we expect to release this SP1 in about a month, more or less from now.

Not working here in build 402 - Validate PQ or name does not work and there are further problems:

In the past, when auto-creating a PQ list ("Create CD Mark Groups") the name of the clip on the first EDL track was used as the CD track name. This is no longer the case. It appears to randomly select a clip within a group to use as the track name.

Hi Gramme,

This fix will be available in the 6.0Sp1 beta2 that's why.
As for your Random Name selection in CD track name, we do not reproduce this, if you can send us your project.

Hey, Graemme. I was trying "Validate PQ", not "Validate Name". I had to roll back to v5.1.13. I'll install v6Sp2 beta once it's out, and try both of the things you've mentioned on one of our 'problem projects'. Since version 6 I've never been able to get rid of those * 's, FWIW.

Lucas - Yep, I've noticed the same about V6. I just delete them, though...

No going back to V5 (so far, at least) and I'm liking the VST automation in V6sp1b1.
