Autoconform

Postby Adrian » Thu Feb 01, 2007 01:28

Hi there, Will the new version of VCube be able to autoconform from Avid sequences, edls and FCP projects, both SD and HD?

Also will it be able to import audio and video omfs? This would be a great time saving feature.

Finaly is there a launch date?

Thanks Adrian

Hi Adrian,

Good questions. The manual for v1.3 (usual download location) has plenty of details on the features you are talking about.

Cheers,
Graeme

Hello Adrian,

Now, VCube 1.3 also manages the audio tracks when importing an OMF project from an Avid system.
The optional "VCube Interchange-Final Cut Pro XML" option is required if you have to import projects from a FCP into the VCube Timeline. Note also that specific codec options for VCube may be required depending of video NLE : DVCPRO, DVCPRO-HD or MPEG2.
VCube can also import AAF compositions.

Cheers,

Laurent
