VCube does not record when no Tracks in Timeline

VCube does not record when no Tracks in Timeline

This may seem obvious, yet it is very confusing:
  • Select New
  • Goto Record
  • Enable the Xena
  • Record

VCube wont record anything unless you add a Video and/or Audio Track in the timeline first. VCube does not issue a warning and happily goes into Record-Mode. It does create a file of 0Kb with the correct name, but nothing is recorded upon pressing stop.

I can't reproduce the problem.
What is your exact setup about sync, ref, transport command?
