Hi there
Is it possible to run Pyramix V 7 or V 8 on a Mac Book using Boot Camp or some other windows simulator?

Cheers

Been doing it for six years...

There are some optimizations you need to do, to lower the DPC Latencies. More information on that subject can be found here (try the "Tips and Tricks" section), and also on the RME Forum.

What is the best version of Windows 7 to buy to run Pyramix Native on a Mac with Bootcamp at this time? 32/64 bit? Home Basic edition or Home Premium or Professional or Ultimate? I find the table at http://www.merging.com/pages/pcconfig a bit confusing.

Thanks!

Pyramix 10 Native Master on a MBP Retina Bootcamp partition running Windoze 7 64bit, Horus with 32 premo inputs and 8 premo outs and Hapi with new AKD8DP.

Professional.

Pyramix Native 7.1 and later will run under either 32 or 64 bit. All the non-native (hardware based) versions are restricted to 32 bit.
