Lingering DefaultLibrary.pml files

Postby fl » Thu Apr 19, 2012 19:13

Lately, I've been finding Project Name.DefaultLibrary.pml files in my Project folders after closing the Project. I thought that these were supposed to be zipped up into the pmx file as part of the closing process, along with Automation.pad, Composition.pml, Playlists.pml and Workspace.pmw.

Is this a bug, or have I enabled a preference somewhere?

I only see the files you mention on my computer used for backing up my Pyramix computer. They show up there when I backup an open project, but otherwise I don't see them in my main project folder. Version 7.1.09 here.

Consider yourself lucky. According to David Jacques, it's a bug, and will be fixed in a future release.

Not a huge deal, but it does clutter up the project folder.
