Home and End Keys do not moveline timeline view

I seem to have got a setting wrong and cannot find it. When I press Home or End keys, I want the cursor AND the timeline view (at current zoom) to move to the respective positions. Now, the cursor moves but not the timeline view.
Is there an easy fix?

Hi David,
If I understand what you are asking for:
Macro Steps:
Tracks Menu: De-Select Track
Cursors and Marks Menu: Cursor to Start (or End) of Selected Track
Cursors and Marks Menu: Show Cursor
Really, it's the last command that you're probably missing.

Hi Graemme, the macro you suggest may work, but I have never had a macro defined to do this. It used to work, or so I thought.

There may well be a system command to do this but I've used this macro for so long that I can't remember ;->
and don't really care...

This works in V6.x without the show cursor command.
Cursors and Marks Menu: Cursor to Start (or End) of Selected Track - does both and is just a shortcut, not a macro

Try with the diferent cursor view options. You´re problem is probably there, as I understand the timeline doesn´t move until you press Play right?

Correct. I must have had a previous shortcut defined that I didn't save. I have now reassigned Home and End to <Cursor to Start of Selected Track> and <Cursor to End of Selected Track> respectively and saved my keyboard settings. All is working as expected now. Many thanks to all for assistance as usual.
