Import AES31 from SADiE with Interleaved files

Postby bwsayles » Sat Mar 10, 2018 00:51

Hi there,

I'm trying to import an AES31 EDL (.ADL) from SADiE into Pyramix 11. I am successful...except that two of the channels were recorded with interleaved files. Pyramix displays these as dual mono, copying the left channel to both channels. Is there a way to correct this?

Thanks,
Brad

Brad,
I'm not sure if you ever got this figured out, but is there an option in Sadie to export with all mono files? I've never imported AES31 with interleaved files, but I regularly import AAF with mixed media formats.
All the best,

Hi Mark!

I haven't got this nailed down yet. SADiE won't convert the interleaved files to mono. It can import its own AES31. I also noticed the same problem with AAF. I tried to export a project from Protools and it wouldn't let me until I deactivated the interleaved channel. At least Pyramix is giving it a go...
