Gates in/out functionality gone

Postby bwsayles » Tue May 21, 2019 16:13

I have v11.1.5 on Windows 7 & 10. I've had a strange thing happen. This issue occurs on all three of my machines. My gates are gone. I edit in source destination. I can go back to earlier projects and the gates are still there. But any new projects I create don't allow me to use the gates. I try to manually set them in the S/D from the tab. Nothing. I even reinstalled an earlier version of Pyramix. Still no gates. Something strange has happened! Any thoughts?

The first thing to check is whether you've properly assigned the "Type" of the selected Track Group (in the Track Groups Tab) as a Source or Destination (if it's "Free" the Gates won't appear).

Could your keyboard shortcuts for the Gates have been somehow reassigned? What happens if you call them directly from the Cursor and Marks menu?

Are the settings in the main Edit Menu > Source - Destination sub-menu as you prefer them?

I've found that it sometimes helps to enable the Source-Destination Tool Bar (View > Scales/Toolbars > Source - Destination).
